Kitchen Remodeling in Omaha, NE
Your family spends more time in the kitchen than anywhere else, so shouldn't it be a room you actually love?
Why Omaha Families Choose Us for Kitchen Remodels
If you’re still dealing with cabinets that stick, countertops that are falling apart, or a layout that made sense in 1985 but doesn’t work now, you already know something needs to change. Your kitchen gets used every single day. Breakfast before school. Dinner after work. Late-night snacks. Weekend meal prep. When the space doesn’t function right, everything feels harder than it should.
At Pritch Remodeling And Basements, we’ve remodeled kitchens all over Omaha. We handle the design consultation, the custom carpentry, the cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, everything. You get one team managing the whole project instead of trying to coordinate five different contractors who may or may not show up. We make the process straightforward so you can focus on what your new kitchen will look like when it’s finished.
We have in-house custom carpentry, which means we can build exactly what you need. No settling for whatever’s in stock at the big box store. Real wood cabinets that can be refinished if they get scratched. Stone or quartz countertops that handle hot pans and wine spills without staining. Soft-close drawers that don’t wake up the whole house at 6 a.m.
We also think through the whole space. Flooring, lighting, paint, trim, baseboards. A kitchen remodel should feel complete when we’re done, not like you only fixed half the room. And we back everything with a 3-year workmanship warranty because we’re confident in what we build.
- 3-year workmanship warranty included
- Full kitchen layout consultation
- In-house custom carpentry services
- Real wood cabinets available
- Stone and quartz countertops
- Clear 4-6 week timelines

How Much Does Kitchen Remodeling Cost in Omaha, NE
Based on kitchens we’ve completed around Omaha, most full remodels run between $40,000 and $80,000, depending on size and what you’re upgrading.
We finished a 15×8 kitchen in Omaha for $40,000. That included a new center island, new countertops throughout, hanging light fixtures, hexagonal porcelain backsplash, new cabinets, undercabinet lighting, and premium plumbing fixtures. Cabinets and countertops together made up about $15,000 of that.
A 15×15 kitchen we completed ran $50,000. This one had luxury vinyl plank flooring, granite countertops on the island and perimeter cabinets, porcelain tile backsplash, new recessed lighting plus a ceiling fan, soft-close drawers and doors throughout, and new cabinets. Cabinets and countertops were $20,000 combined.
On the higher end, we remodeled a 10×20 kitchen for $70,000 to $80,000. This included a new kitchen island, new appliances and range hood, custom cabinets in a unique color, soft-close everything, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and fresh paint and trim. The custom cabinets alone were around $25,000.
Here are five things that affect the price:
- Kitchen Size: Bigger kitchens need more materials and more labor. A 10x12 kitchen costs less than a 15x20 kitchen simply because there's less to cover.
- Cabinet Quality and Customization: Stock cabinets from a warehouse store cost less than custom-built cabinets designed for your exact space. Real wood costs more than particle board. Custom colors and finishes add to the budget. Cabinets often account for a third to half of your total cost.
- Countertop Material: Laminate is affordable. Granite costs more. Quartz even more. Natural stone sits at the top. Your countertop choice makes a big difference in your final number.
- Layout Changes: Keeping everything in the same spot keeps costs lower. Moving your sink, stove, or fridge means relocating plumbing, electrical, and gas lines. That adds labor and time. Sometimes a better layout is worth the investment, but it will cost more.
- Appliances and Fixtures: You can spend $500 on a faucet or $1,500. Same with lighting and hardware. Premium finishes and high-end appliances increase your budget but they also last longer and look better.
These numbers come from past projects. Your actual cost depends on your space and what you want. Visit our contact page here with specifics about your kitchen and we’ll give you an accurate quote.
We Take Your Budget and Timeline Seriously
Budget
A kitchen remodel between $40,000 and $80,000 sounds like a lot. But if you use that kitchen for the next 15 years, you’re looking at less than $10 a day. That’s cheaper than grabbing lunch out. And unlike lunch, a well-done kitchen remodel adds real value to your home and makes your daily routine better. We help you choose materials that fit your budget from the start, and we plan for surprises so you’re not blindsided halfway through.
Timeline
Most full kitchen remodels take 4 to 6 weeks from start to finish, depending on size and complexity. We give you a clear schedule before we begin, and we stick to it. We show up when we say we will. We work clean and stay out of your way as much as possible. We know living without a kitchen is rough, so we move efficiently without cutting corners. Delays aren’t in our vocabulary.

FAQs About Kitchen Remodeling in Omaha, NE
Most full kitchen remodels take 4 to 6 weeks from start to finish, depending on size and scope. We give you a clear schedule upfront and we stick to it. You can stay in your home during the work, but you’ll lose access to your kitchen for that period. We work as clean as possible and stay out of your way, but plan on eating out or setting up a temporary kitchen elsewhere. A few weeks of inconvenience for a kitchen you’ll love for decades.
Real wood cabinets and stone or quartz countertops give you the best durability and lowest maintenance. If something looks cheap, it usually is, and it won’t hold up. Real wood can be refinished if damaged. Stone and quartz resist scratches, heat, and stains better than laminate or other budget options. We’ll help you choose materials and finishes that match your budget while still giving you quality that lasts.
Yes. We’ll walk through ideas and help you figure out what fits your home and your personal style. Some trends have staying power, others belong on Pinterest and nowhere else. We won’t push something just because it’s popular right now. Classic choices with a few modern touches usually age better than going all-in on whatever’s trending this year. We’ll help you find that balance.
Clear out everything you can. Food, dishes, small appliances, anything not built in. The more you move out beforehand, the faster we can start and the less risk something gets damaged during demolition. If you have fragile items or family heirlooms in cabinets, pack them safely. We’ll handle the rest, but giving us a clean workspace helps your remodel run smoother from day one.
